However, to achieve this seal, appropriate operating parameters for the sealer are required – specifically temperature and pressure force. Therefore, periodic verification of the sealer's proper functioning, through a sealing quality test, is of utmost importance. Using the sealing control test sheet, placed inside the sterilization packaging (at the point where sealing is performed), provides information about the seal's quality. After the process, a uniform black band should appear along the sealing line, indicating a correct seal.
